just have to be patient. this year is not as fast as last year in general.

It is pretty fast for some provinces or some processing offices i should say..notices lots of applications received in may and june got Dm status..
Well,we can do nothing except wait..

Cleared the exam today in Montreal. The officer told that the Oath invite should come in 3 months once they finalize the application.

Wanted to ask question on my brother’s behalf.. Do we get chance to reschedule the citizenship test? His application is in process since June 27th and he is going out of country for 3 months, next month.. Should we inform cic of our bookings now or wait for exam date? Any suggestions please?

No, not yet. According to the agent that interviewed me, they still have to finalize the application. So, I presume the exam is not an end to everyone. I depends case to case.
