hey guys can you help me i am applying for citizenship and i came to canada three years ago in 2015 and havent left it since. Q10(b) of the form says if you were outside canada in the last 4 years then provide a police certificate. so even though i didnt left canada i have to provide the police cert?

I THINK that it depends on your eligibility period, if you lived more than 183 days in any country outside Canada since you became Permanent Resident, then yes you have to provide Police Certificate from that country.

I THINK that it depends on your eligibility period, if you lived more than 183 days in any country outside Canada since you became Permanent Resident, then yes you have to provide Police Certificate from that country.

ok so the interpretation is "since getting PR" then no i havent gone out of canada. whew saved me a lot of time. thanx
