So today we got remedicals request and have also been asked to send updated proof of funds. Some progress at last! But very annoying as the wait time for the panel physician in our city is almost two months, so we are now scrambling to make a plan for an appointment elsewhere.

Yes, unfortunately there is only one doctors practice in my city that is on the CIC list, so if they can’t help us with an earlier appointment then we will fly to another one to sort it out. I’m definitely not waiting another 6-8 weeks. I want to get this done now. Fifteen months has been long enough

I guess medical request or extensions are sent after final review from an Officer.
try to look at the bright side.....we might get lucky and our medical will be extended....300$ saved!!!

I understand the situation... Possible for you to go to another nearby city and get it done there?

Ask them to notify you when there is a cancellation as well

So we also today got re-medical request, but now my partner is pregnant & only due in January. So even though this we grateful for the re-meds request, our application will be delayed till next year sometime.

I was asked to submit divorce certificate, in fact i was never re marriage.
what the hell is this immigration officer is looking in to my application. This shame on immigration officer.
