Quick question, a friend of mine who’s in Canada now told me that hiring is very slow in the months of Oct Nov Dec. Offices usually start recruitment Jan onwards there.
Is that true ?
It may also depend on which sector as well one is looking at, construction for sure is little down during the period hence the hiring too.
Which sector do you work in ?
Oh shoot...should I start adopting kids as a single dad? Unless I meet someone on here... so, here it goes: I’m male, 6 ft, 175lbs, semi-good looking, qualsi-smart, Canadian wannabe.

My warmest thanks to the wonderfull community of canadavisa and also to IRCC for processing our case in such a timely manner.
Hi friend,
1 - Well to be honest, for my VO it was just a guess for me, because when IRCC requested ADR i was told that if i have difficulties uploading my document to MyCIC i can send them by E-mail to cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca (and not paris.immigration@cic.gc.ca if my file was at Paris VO), so i guessed that it was Ottawa. I think your options for knowing your VO are either to call IRCC, order GCMS notes or raise a CSE.
2 - medical passed was the day i moved to IP1 (20/04/2018).
happy to help.
