Hi guys. Finally got AOR on Apr 17. I'm quite confused as the letter mentioned that my documents were received on Apr 17 but on the top of the letter, the date was Apr 18 (although I received the letter on Apr 17). Is it normal or not? Please advise guys.
Hi folks,
I have a complex query and I see this as big trouble...Kindly please help
I have a sibling in Canada for which I received 15 points...His passport bears father name as correct one(updated one) and my passport bears incorrect (old one) as my father underwent passport renewal for name change. Now both of the siblings do not have same name of father...Although I have another supporting documents like birth certificate of both of us..I have received ITA with days left as 80.Kindly guide....If I should go for passport update to beat my father's new name or should I supply other helping documents in immigration file...Can this cause my file rejection??

This shouldn't be an problem. You can provide a letter of explanation regarding your father's name change, and attach the official documents that show his name(s) before and after the name change - there must be official documents to support this fact.
This is to enquire about medical test for a child who is just 3.5 years old. I am planning to take a pre-medical test for my family which includes my kid as well. Kindly guide if these medical tests are to be taken for my kid as well as almost all tests mentioned are for 15 yrs and above.

I don't know the answer to this question. The medical office/doctor should be able to confirm the list of tests that are required for a toddler for immigration purposes. Others on this forum might be able to answer your question as well (if they've gone through this experience with their toddlers), but if I were you, I'd reach out to my doctor's office directly and ask them to confirm.

My kid is 1.5 years old and she just need to have general check (by doctor) only, no need to do X-ray, blood test, urine test. I think 3.5 will be the same case.
