no, I saw people's comments saying it's not that helpful, so I didn't. My aor is April 16 and my medical status get updated August 12, still waiting for good news

What did it change to? I received an update last week which was my medical got expired. It changed to “you don’t need a medical exam”

My medical expires in March , the status changes to you don’t need medical exam after that , now it updates to medical passed

Could you please tell us the exact number of days from medicals expiration to medical extension ? How many days?

I think it varies case by case.. some people got extension/remed request after 1-2 weeks medial expired. My medical expired two weeks ago and I haven't receive any updates from the visa officer

I guess it depends. My medical expired on March 10th 2019.
June 13th 2019 I cleared everything and since that date I am waiting for a decision regarding my medical extension or to be asked to re-do it.
In 2 weeks, I will reach 3 months wait for extension/remed....

I was counting since the date I passed everything in June 2019... 3 or 6 months it is a lot. Don't know why it is taking that long.... if they have issue with my medical why they don"t ask me to redo it seriously....

Quick update regarding my application. Finally got my application approved. PFB timeline.

• AOR : April 25th 2018; FSW-O (USA) ; Applicant: 1
• Medical Passed: May 2018 [forgot the day]
• Eligibility was in review required since May 2018 till August 2019 for Job duties (I provided details asked but in 2 letters one from manager another from company)
  • No update in profile or GCMS or thru call during this wait period
• On July 8th 2019 medical was extended automatically.
• on Aug 14th 2019 - Received the "Ready for Visa" email
• Passport sent to Ottawa on Aug 16th and reached on Aug 19th
• Application moved to approved status on Aug 27th and following changes also reflected on the same day.
  • August 13, 2019 Your eligibility has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below.
  • Background check status changed to "May 23, 2018 Your background check was completed"
  • Final Decision to " August 27, 2019 Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details."
  • Counterfoil and Passport information were updated in the profile
• Tracker got enabled on Aug 29th and received passport back on Aug 30th
• COPR valid till 7th July 2020 (medical expiry date)
• Planning to soft land in a couple of months, possibly in BC.

I ended up in security screening but luckily all passed and approved 2 months ago...
