eAPR (Electronic Application for Permanent Residence) is the date on which you have submitted your complete application online.
AoR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) is when you got confirmation that your application is received. If you get the AoR on the same date, your eAPR and AoR is the same.
AoR 14th April 18

I know the two dates are one and the same; you are spot on with the terminology. It was just when I checked the tracker yesterday, the "AOR date" field was gone, the "eAPR Date" field was added and the "new" -in fact only renamed- field was blank, so I assumed there was a change.
So, just a glitch in the matrix. Nothing to see here

eAPR and AoR can be different. I think they might tried to focus more on the eAPR rather than AoR so that people can estimate the times since they have submitted the application rather than when they received the AoR. BTW, it is working now. I think they fixed it. They made some changes in the column placement etc.

I think it depends on wich kind of immigration you submitted. For EE the two dates are the same. But for others i think they receive AOR much more time after sending the file. Or am i wrong?
After 30 minutes of wait, I finally spoke to a CIC agent about my application status. She said BGC is under progress. There are two parts to it, and one of it completed and other one is yet not yet started. Eligibility is still under review. She couldn't tell me which part of BGC is what. Not the update/info I was expecting after 30-40 minutes of waiting but I feel accomplished that I could at least talk to them.
I am FSW-I (Express entry) with AOR April 11. I think I am in IP2 since May 10.

Hi Guys
PPR on 30 August, I went to VFS to submit passport but it says it's a damaged so I need to get new done on tatkla basis so I have opted for reissue of passport on tatkal basis. Now I have few questions
- in New passport, passport number will remain same but the file number will be different does it create any issue? Because while accepting ITA I have send the copy of my old passport
- Even with new passport I can send the passport to NDVo within 30 days so. Do I need to inform CIC about new passport?
- in VFS along with new passport do I need to send any letter of explanation?
Thanks.
I am planning to land in Ontario, Toronto but after receiving PR card I may think for Manitoba, you can suggest me on this if you have any idea.
Sent passport for stamping at VFS Hyderabad. Passport can be submitted anytime between 9 AM to 4 PM. Got back my passport in 10 working days

Plz all advise. I got AOR on April24th, passed medicals on may 12. Ordered GCMS notes and notes says medical passed, criminality passes. Security is ongoing.
What kind of security clearance or information is being accessed with the security?
