Today shall be a beautiful day. Silent reader of this forum and I can say it has been helpful to the point where I was more knowledge about the process than my lawyer lol. Below is my timeline:

AOR: 23-APR-2018

MEP And IP1: 1-June-2018

IP2: 26-July-2018

PPR: 9-August 2018 ( Still cant believe....I may need a glass of scotch to get my senses right haha)

VISA office - Montreal

FSWO single applicant, nationality : Congolese

Yes, the wait is unbearable but every time I saw someone get his PPR I felt a bit relieve so best wishes to everybody. God Bless!!1

Hi guys! I just enquired about my application status by calling IRCC. The agent informed me that criminality check has been passed, eligibility check is still in progress and security check is yet to be started. Does anyone has idea on how much more waiting time to expect before they review my application completely?

My AOR is Apr 21, 2018. Thanks in advance!

You will. I know it seems a long way from now. However, I never thought my turn will come lol. Here I am.

I suggest you apply for gcms notes. The notes take 30 days and usually a case officer has to review them before they are release which thus have at times pushed applications forward

If you still insist on calling them use this number

GCMS notes doesn't tell security staff. I ordered CBSA notes. on the first page of CBSA notes, it displays a CBSA system screenshot which shows the type of the activity for my wife is security screening.

How much time did it take for you to receive the CBSA notes

I made a mistake while filling my EE profile (Wrongly mentioned NOC 2146) in one of my designation (While it was 2173)

I have 4 designation all under 2173 and all in same company.

I just realized this while i was filling my PR application. Please help i am really nervous.

I think you can change it and mention it in LoE but if your CRS score is very high, you can decline this ITA.

The no. to call them outside Canada is +1 613 944 4000 and punch in options 1111122. Its better to use google hangout to make the call.
later you will be asked to type your application number and your year of birth.

You can ask them about the Visa Office currently processing your file ,Status of Eligibility, Criminality and Background Check/Security Check

Thank you for your help. I called them yesterday and they informed only medical and criminality is passed as of now. Eligibility is still in process and security check has not yet started. Regardin my visa office, the agent said that its a centralised system and there is no particular visa office looking into my application. My AOR is Apr 21, and no clue on how much more time they are gonna take..
