I called IRCC today. The agent said that eligibility is met and will be passed soon but background check has not been started yet. She said my VO is still Ottawa. Does anybody know how much time they could take now? And what all is checked in background check?

No PPR yet. Has anyone got any PPR this week? Usually after waiting this long and getting to IP2 quickly goes to PPR stage. No email yet in SPAM.

I have similar situation AOR 19th April moved to IP2 on 27th July. Was hoping for PPR after so long wait at IP1
My friend is also at IP2 since 28th june same AOR. Are they suddenly taking time at IP2 as well? Highly random Anyways hoping for everyone to receive PR soon

They said security and criminality together is Background check and BGC is going on at the moment in Sydney. So here's wishing for something soon hopefully.

i have a question regarding PoF. My bank account has a large amount ~45k USD which ive saved over couple of years as i worked in US for last 2 years.

I am showing the complete 12 month statement showing the deposit ive made over the 12 months and it is stamped by the bank.

6 months ago i had about 30k USD in my account and then i kept adding 2-3k a month from my salary account .

Do i need to worry about if CIC will interpret as a borrowed money ? How do i handle this?

Have been a silent member of this thread, Received PPR today (9:20 AM IST), below are the application's details :

FSW-O India (2 Members on the application)
AOR : 30th April 2018
MEP/IP1 : 4th May
IP2 : 27th July
Ghost update : 5th August
PPR : 9th Aug

Few things that might help others :
- We had only submitted the Reference letters (Obtaining them was a pain from the current organization), forgot to upload the salary slips (Did that a month later through CSE)
- Marriage certificate and passport name was different for my wife (Did not provide a one and same person affidavit, but provided pictures from the wedding ceremony).
- New passports post ITA for both applicant and dependent
- Applied for GCMS a week before IP2 (not sure if that helped push the app into IP2, was in IP1 throughout)
- No ADRs

This forum has been extremely helpful so thank you every one !! specially to all the active members who kept providing updates.

Congratulations we have the exact same timeline except that I got PPR the same day I moved to IP2.
