People with identical names and a previous record exist, and CIC quality control. My guess.

did my test ... all went well. passed it

... interview was right after the test ... all ok .. whole process took about 2 and half hours ... got the oath ceremony letter right away after end of interview ... ;D

This is my time line as under, after my name change process they changed my name on their system I can see that recently but still waiting for test letter. My local office is in Vancouver.

Was that a fingerprint request letter?
No BLT,
That was my name change certificate from BC Government & 2 more photo IDs with new name. I sent them upon request......now after changed name online I am still waiting for my test letter to come. I think my local office will be in Vancouver...

Why don't you wait until you have gotten the citizenship, then change your name? It's an unnecessary delay now.
Well if you live in Vancouver around, then your office will be Vancouver. Langley could be Surrey though. I'm in West Van, definitely Vancouver.
