hello everyone! I am new with this and just like everyone else, my partner and I submitted our application this april and Fedex confirmed that CIC (Mississauga, ON) got our application last April 17, 2013. We are just waiting for the "control number" (whatever it is called) so we can check it online the status of our application. I guess the timeline for the DM1 is 28 days then after that, our documents will be sent here in Manila for another assessments and stuffs. Hopefully, everything will turn out well...goodluck to all of us

Called CIC today and was notified that we have had our AOR since April 16th! Today has been a really great day! There was a mistake in the e-mail on file and the AOR e-mail was sent to the wrong address. After clearing that up we now know that we do have AOR and they are currently looking at me for SA.
So I got my Aor today !! I'm happy but they sent back my application cause I use a lawyer and he left out a page !! So I called them and they say I should correct it and send it in ! Wen I look at the papers they stamp it fill in some stuff so hopefully I can sent it in Friday !!
2013/4/24 My husband received CIC email said :"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing." I think it's DM1....

Mrs. JGM613 and I have been watching and reading...on and off for a little while...its GREAT to know that we're not alone in this process...that there's many out there going through the same things that we are!
We just filed last week...Mississauga...Outland Spousal applicants...we've been working on this for about two months...and we've paid all of our fees to avoid any possible delay..NOW we wait!
