I double checked spam and trash bins. I just looked at the FedEx paper and it says that our application was delivered on April 1st, not the 3rd. So it looks like the "Application Received" status on ECAS is our AOR. Am I correct in thinking this?
Fandy mentioned that there is a difference in the wait times between inland applicants and outlanders, so a separate spreadsheet for April inland applicants is located here, and all the "innies" have been moved there:
Now I'm worrying that I received it and have deleted it accidentally. If I'm not worrying about that, then I'm worrying why we haven't received AOR yet. Would it be most likely sent to the applicant or the sponsor?
EDIT: Just checked ECAS with my husband's Client ID: It says "Application Received" for April 2nd, I assume this means we have AOR?
Hi everyone I sent my application on 2nd April 2013, did the medical exam on 12 March 2013. Application received on 8 April 2013 (according to DHL tracker) I'm in Africa (Republic of Gabon)
How to update my profile as most of you guys?
I was wondering the same and then I noticed that the members who had their details posted under their username were those with a higher ranking [there is "newbie", "member", "full member", "star member", "hero member", etc.]. From my observations, these statuses are gained through "hard work": you have to contribute to the forum [post questions, reply to questions, etc] before you can publish your details.
I'm waiting for elder members of the forum to correct me if I'm wrong, since this is only what I believe is the case.

Yes, the ranking system with the stars under an individual's username is updated/gained by the number of posts the user makes. It is an automatic thing that the owners of the forum set.
However, the profile information (Visa Office, AOR Received etc) under the username is something that each individual user must modify themselves. To do this, go click on 'Profile' on the blue bar (where it says 'Home,' 'Assessment,' 'Help' etc) underneath the main forum header. You will be redirected to a page with the summary of your profile information. To the left you will see 'Profile Info,''Modify Profile,' and 'Actions.' You want to click on 'Forum Profile Information' under the 'Modify Profile' header, from there you can pick a picture to show up under your username whenever you post and edit the information on your dates to do with AOR, filing of your application etc. Remember to scroll all the way down and hit 'Change Profile' to save the information you have just input as it will be lost if you don't.
But still I don't have all those options under my profile. I guess may be because I'm a newbie only . let's see in a couple days when I will change grade.
