USA residents do not need a visa to visit Canada

B1/B2 isn't resident. Green Card holders are (or used to be, at least - I haven't checked in years) visa-exempt to Canada to visit the country, but it's not the OP's case.

Visitor, since you just want to come visit. I'm not sure how the Consulate would take your application though, since you're only a visitor in the US. When I applied for a visa to come visit someone in Canada I had to prove my ties to the US and that I'd return to the US at the end of my trip. But my visa was a student one (and I could provide a letter from the institution saying I had to return after the spring break).
I realized there are many people who are in the quest for the current processing times for Visitor Visa, and I am one among many. I feel the agony of anticipation and uncertainity. To mitigate this agony, I took an initative to started a database, where each of us can contribute/submit our processing dates. This could be a great source of information as what to expect.
I humbly would like to request everyone to come forward and help the fellow Visa Seekers in this regard!! Please check the following link and post the information.
