I came to canada 9 months ago when i was 17 years old. My pr card expired on june 5th 2015 and I just turned 18 in December 2014. I have only lived in canada for 9 months now. Is there any way i can renew my card now or do I have to complete 2 years to renew my card ? I live alone and I'm supported by my parents who are out of canada.
You have to meet the 2 year residency requirement before you will be able to renew your PR card - unless one of your parents is a Canadian citizen and you were living with that parent while you were outside of Canada.
