I made a refugee claim in Canada in 2006. Never finished it (just filled one form) and left Canada within visa time and never received any process number of feedback from IRCC. I'm not sure the claim was completed or analyzed. But I did filled one form however I dont have any details of it.
In 2016 I returned to Canada with a Student visa and received an invitation to apply for express entry.
One of the questions ask if I ever claimed refugee status. Yes or No.
How can I check the record IRCC has of my claim? I do not have the process number.
On my CIC profile my claim and my visitor visa from 2006 does not show.
To claim information under ATIP I need File Number - that I do not have - only for my current visa profile number number.
What is the way to get access to this information?
