This is relevant and useful situation so thought of posting here.
I am on work permit, and my employer has two offices. Head office is in Gatineau (and many people live in Ottawa, cross river and work in Gatineau office, though i dont know if any of those got PR this way or not) where as the other one is in Montreal where i am currently working.
The job officially speaking is permanent. The question is, can i apply for CEC, get an approval from my employer to work in Gatineau office, if CIC permits and live in Ottawa and submit that letter along with CEC application.
Then i continue working in Montreal, till PR comes, and then move to Ottawa.
Is that possible? Any constraints on this that any body knows of?
Tax, license and other things are applicable based upon residence, not work place.
