Dear Friends,

May be there are many threads on this topic already. I am relatively new to the forum and looking for some details about applying for WP while my PR (Federal Skilled) is in progress

- Will there any issues if I apply for a WP (the company I am currently working for is applying for WP to Canada) while my PR is in process? I had not informed my employer that my PR is in process. Will there be any issues with it?

- Will getting a WP help me to expedite my PR process?

Please advise. Thank you all in advance

Adding few more points to my current status:

- I am currently in USA
- I had applied for PR on my own (not through my employer)
- I had applied for PR under Federal Skilled Worker Class (not Canadian experience)
- I will be applying for WP through my employer only

Thanks in advance.
