applying for workpermit with sponsorship question! thx!

My description.
-I am Canadian citizen sponsoring for my wife.
-We both live moved to Canada and my wife only has temporary visa(ETA).
-We have a daughter who already is a Canadian citizen

Question.

We're trying to apply for workpermit and sponsorship for PR at the same time.
do we need to only fill out IMM5710(application to change conditions, extend my stay or remain in canada as a worker) for workpermit?
or do we need to do IMM5556(document checklist) also?

I did both to be sure and put the checklist on top of the work permit including all required documents for the Work Permit. Hope that helps.
