I know I am replying on 2013 thread, but still, Guys, anyone who got SINP nomination without Birth Certificate by providing some alternate. I know it is mandatory , but just trying to understand if there is any hope for my application.
I attached Affidavit, 10 th Certificate, Passport and Letter of Explanation that I do not have birth certificate.
Birth certificate is mandatory, in case if your birth is not registered, submit non availability of birth certificate(NABC) along with any of the below documents where your DOB is mentioned.
1. Educational marks cards or certificate
2. National voter ID card
3. Household registry card.
SINP is very strict, they will reject your application without BC or NABC.

Yes I got it from the Municipal corporation. It is standard document "untraceable certificate of birth and death". Even if you want to apply birth certificate, they will first locate your records and issue u this document if records are not found.

Thank You very much rashpal26 for your prompt reply. Actually, I born in a village at home. That time there was no hospital or dispensary. So how should I apply for it. My village do not have municipal dept it has Grampanchayat. Do i need to get it from Grampanchayat ? If I get anything from Grampanchayat it will be in Marathi (my mother tongue ). In order to get convert it into English do I have to get it done as affidavit right ?

Thank you so much rashpal26. Will see if Grampanchayat can provide the birth certificate or otherwise I had to get "Non Availability of Birth Certificate" from Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
My husband is Primary applicant and I am spouse dependent. I do not have my birth certificate and on July 5th 2018 I submitted my affidavit with my husband's SINP application. I was in a belief that Birth certificate is mandatory for Primary applicant only but now I am worried my affidavit would create a prob.
Kindly anyone confirm if BC is required for non primary applicant?
I am not in India and would like to know how I can apply for Non Availability of Birth Certificate from here?
