I am currently applying for a FSW1 PR. I received my AOR two weeks ago. I understand that if I do get PR for Canada then I have to "land" within one year (one year from the date of my medicals).

However I have seen some interesting jobs abroad with my company... possibly in Australia or the USA. Duration 1-2 years. Essentially I want to know if this will jeopardise my PR application and/or the "landing" process?

What do you think? Will it look bad if I move in the next months whilst my documents are being processed by the CHC? I was thinking that a change of address (especially different country) or sending my passport with a visa (with an expiry date in the future) for another country won't look [to the immigration officer] like I want to immigrate to Canada in the required one year time frame.

Suppose I do get it, having a visa (with an expiry date in the future) for another country might not look good either when I try to "land"... especially if my intent was to just "land" and then disappear again. I do understand though that to keep a PR, one has to be in the country 2 of 5 years.

Any thoughts?

I will suggest "land and then disappear"

You don't have to immigrate to Canada within the one year time frame. You just have to land. Then you can leave for up to 3 years before you lose your PR. In case anybody asks about your other visa, you can say that you are working on a contract job in that country and it will take 1 or 2 years to complete.
