Applying for PGWP wile waiting for study permit extension

Hi all,
My study permit expires on DEC 31, 2021.
I am not sure if I can graduate until that time and I am thinking to apply for study permit extension.
Can I apply for a study permit extension now and when I graduated I apply for PGWP? ( in the case SP will be processing )

I don’t understand your title and question.. they are conflicting

PGWP is a one time life opportunity. if you “waste” it by using it as way to wait fo the extension.. that’s is… you can’t get another one.

You can apply for your extension, and when you finally graduate, you can apply for PGWP. The extension does not cause any problem for it.

I am sorry if my question was not clear.
My study permit will expire in the next two months and I am not sure that I can graduate until that time. So if I apply for extension of my study permit and don't get any decision on that, am I be able to apply for PGWP? Or I need to wait get the decision for my study permit extension?

One of the requirements for PGWP is to have at least a completion letter. Without it you can’t apply.
so if you are not completing you studies by December, you will need you extension In order to finish your courses.
once you finish you studies, with a valid study permit, you can go ahead and apply for PGWP

It is called implied status. Can I apply for PGWP while I am on implied status?

You should try to graduate first. Study permit extension takes about a week or so. Mine was 2 days in July. If by December or whenever, you are able to graduate, you can apply for PGWP.
Just so simple.

I wasn't given +90 days on my study permit. So it's ending on Dec 31, 2021 while it should have been till April 30, 2022. I've applied for an extension but no update yet. Has anyone got an extension yet? I applied on Nov 12th.

As far as i know you can apply for pgwp on implied status but you cant work untill pgwp approval

I received study permit extension till the 31st December and my college is not able to provide me with any documents till January. So, I applied for an extension again.

Its absolutely safe to apply pgwp on implied status i met few people who applied and got it approved
I did 2 year course and applied for pgwp last week
