New Zealand Citizen here. From August 2012-2014 I worked in Alberta on a work permit.
I am currently in the permanent residency express entry pool on the basis of fitting the canadian experience class. I have a relatively low score compared with some of the others and I don't just want to sit around and wait to go back.
Once the IEC opens for NZ, would I be eligible to apply for this and go live/work/'travel' Canada on an IEC visa despite having already lived there on a work permit previously? It only states on the website "If you participated in IEC before 2015, you are no longer eligible to apply." Am I right in thinking that I can apply since I wasn't on IEC before, I was on a work permit?
Also, if I am eligible for IEC and go to Canada, can I still sit in the EE pool for permanent residency and be eligible to apply for that?
