I applied for CEC and my case got refused, I am getting ready to apply again. And so want to get my GCMS Notes from the last application. Which one is the better choice for CEC?

request under the Access to Information Act?

OR

under the Privacy Act?

Thanks Maza!! I have another question.

I am in the process of applying for the CEC. My work experience will be completed in April 2014.
I am on PGWP, which is due to expire in July, 2014. My wife is on Student visa, which is due to expire in July, 2014 too.
My wife got her study permit because I am on PGWP.

Will she can get her independent status as a student, after July 2014?
