I would be travelling to US on h1b in April. And I have also applied for Express Entry (Profile already in Pool).
My question is that if I get an ITA while I am in US, how can I send my passport for stamping?
I have heard that stamping for EE can take up to 3 months and am worried about my options.
Do I need to come back to India or I can get my EE stamping done from US as well? If yes then, is it possible for me to stay in US without my passport?
First I guess it shouldn't take three month from the time they request your passport.
Secondly, even if they take three months, what's the problem? Yes, you can stay in US without passport. In general nobody ask you for your passport unless you are doing international travel. Get a driving license(or non-driver id) in US and that would work everywhere as an ID.
