As already mentioned yes but approval can become more challenging because TRV approval is dependent on showing ties to your home country and proof you will return home.

I am curious about how long it takes to receive a final decision when applying from the U.S. while on a B1/B2 visa.

The posted processing time for applications from the U.S. is 27 days. However, I’ve previously applied twice from another country with a processing time of 40 days, but I received a final decision within just 5 days (under CAN+).

I’m wondering if the CAN+ program has much of an impact in the U.S., since most applicants here are likely on visitor visas and would also qualify for CAN+.

Any experience?

You may get faster processing time if it is refusal. This is not a standard CAN+ application. I would also be planning for a refusal and you may have difficulty entering the US.
