Hi! Has anyone here applied for the TRV outside Canada?

I'm really pressed with time and need to leave this weekend as I have another flight to catch when I arrive back home. I already submitted my application while I'm here in Canada and just waiting for a passport request but until now I have not received an update from them.

If I pursue applying back home will this affect my application? What are the chances that the TRV will be refused?

Hope someone could enlighten me.
