Apply PR individually being married and spouse is in Canada on Spouse dependent work permit.

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering for a long time with this question as many of my friends are also in the same situation.

Question: Can I apply for my PR individually being married? (as I include my wife, my CRS score gets low)

My scenario: I am on a Post-study work permit and my wife is in Canada on spouse dependent work permit. My current individual CRS score is 469, But if I include my wife in EE profile, My score stands at 445.

Can I apply PR just for me for now and Once I get the PR, I will do my wife's PR on my basis? ( I will include all my wife's details in my EE profile but just will mark my wife as "not accompanying me")

Having a higher CRS cutoff, I hope many married people will be facing same issue.

Any leads will be highly appreciated.
