Spouse on open work permit and divorce

my situation is close to this…

myhusband SOWP expired on July 30 and we only stayed together for just a week before he moved to his brother’s place…we’ve been living apart all these while.

So, I just received my work permit and he is expecting me to give him to renew his but I want to divorce him, I don’t want to be tied to him in any way again, so, I am not giving him my PGWP.

Any implications? Do I need to notify immigration?

I realized he only used me to get here.

No implications for you. He needs documents from you in order to extend his open work permit and he won't be able to do that if you don't give him these documents.

Yes, you can apply for PR on your own.

he is currently on a work permit and we applied for sponsorship for him. unfortunately, we are getting a divorce as my family doesn't approve anymore of this marriage. does my divorce will effect his application for future express way or any way to get a PR if we get a divorce and pull the application.

He can't stop you from divorcing him. Once you've been separated for a year you have the legal right to file for divorce.

He cannot get PR from you however he can certainly try to qualify on his own. The divorce has no impact on this.

I am an international student i worked on uber and fantuan delivery app for 20 hours at same time for two weeks is this counted as 20 hours or 40 hours. Please give some answer.. and also IRCC will count working hour per week pr total number of hour per year.
