I want to apply for a visitor visa for my mother in Egypt. I'm in Ontario canada, I'm Permanent Resident.
Questions about documents required,
-I'm planning to pay everything and totally support her financially during her visit, does she need to provide a bank statement on her name, or can I provide my bank data/or my tax statement?
-Should I buy the flight tickets before apply for the visa, is it one of the required documents?
-Should I buy travel medical insurance for her before apply for visa, is it one of the required documents?

The application asks whether you (invitee) or your mother (traveler) manage all the expenses in canada. If you select that's you, then you have to submit your POF - bank/tax documents. Or the traveler's bank statement.
The visitor visa is multiple entry which valid for 10 years but stay is limited, say 90 days.
When I filled the application(I dropped out later), It didn't ask either tickets or insurance documents. So I suggest you to create a profile and apply visit visa. The application is valid for 60days to submit. If you failed to submit in 60 days, you have to initiate another application. So this 60 days would be enough to buy tickets and insurance if it required.
