Hello everyone,
I applied for study permit last January and got rejected. My question is can I apply with CAQ that I already have and then apply for new CAQ.
I know that I have to renew CAQ for Fall semester.
Thanks guys
Your CAQ is valid until the date specified on it.
Tnx. I got new loa from my university so I can apply for study permit with new loa and old CAQ?
Yes, as long as CAQ's still valid.
I had a similar query,I have a CAQ issued for Fall 2020 intake, however I deferred my admit to Fall 2021,will my CAQ still be valid or should I re-apply?

Yes, you do, as you can only re-use the CAQ for the next intake. Here's what is stated on my CAQ I'm sure yours has the same stipulation if you read it properly:
Your certificate is still valid for obtaining a study permit in the event that your admission is postponed from the fall session to the following winter session. However, if you postpone your admission from the winter session to a later session or to the following year, you will be required to obtain a new certificate, regardless of the expiry date on your current certificate.
I also deferred my admission (after getting my SP) from Spring to Fall. For me, my CAQ is still valid as I have deferred for less than 150 days.

I assume you are applying for May 2021 intake right? Because you already indicated you are aware you need a new CAQ for fall
