i have applied on 25th. online application through agent in canada. Received Confirmation of receiving application by immigration department on same time. but my agent did not update me since then. means no updates...

Biometrucs is not compulsory in INDIA. If they need your biometrics, they'll intimate you through an email. So submit ur application and wait for their updates.
