Just curious if anyone submitted file in August for Fall Intake.
I submitted my file on August 6 ( Biometrics and PCC pending)
Biometric letter received on August 7

These processing times are not applicable now and also SDS category still says 20 days.

Any application submitted before September 15th for fall intake is fine. Many were not able to apply earlier because of educational loan issues. IRCC has acknowledged this.

If there wouldn’t have been COVID, there’s no way we would have applied in August. Everything shut down and hence our applications were pending. The processing times as of now means nothing.
I would highly suggest that you don’t discourage us. We can still get our AIP on time. We didn’t know we can file incomplete applications or we would have in April.

I applied in August for fall too with upfront medical, I received notice to biometric submission, but not yet received any AIP. awaiting fingers crossed.
My university is asking for visa approval or AIP by 15th august..what is yours saying?

I would like to prove you wrong. I applied for my study permit on the 31st of July and got my AIP. Just to encourage someone, don't loose hope. It's very possible!

Yes i did get my biometrics instructions though cant proceed because VFS is still closed. I applied from Kenya.

I submitted my application at 9pm on the 31st of September, got my biometrics instructions letter on the 1st of August. Got my AIP at 5pm on the 7th of August.

You accomplished the 1st stage !
Now for the 2nd stage, just request deferral intake to your school's admission department.

Hello. I applied on august 5 non-sds for University of Western Ontario from India. Upfront medicals and received biometrics information on August 6. Hope we will also get positive response. I'm glad that I am not the only one who did this, it delayed because of my education loan.

Mine is asking before the start of classes ie 8th Sep
