Applied BOWP on Implied/Maintained Status (April 2024)

Hi, I’m kinda in the same situation. I applied for PR under CEC on March and was awarded 50 points for arranged employment and my closed work permit expires on Septermber.

My employer gave me another LMIA so I applied for another cwp while waiting for my PR.

Unfortunately, I got terminated.

I informed IRCC and applied for bridging open work permit right away using the AOR I received when I applied for my PR.

I regret not to apply for bowp right away after I received the AOR from applying my PR because I not know I will get terminated.

For now, I waiting to get my PR or my bwop approval because I cannot work yet.

would you still qualify for PR without the additional points? Your points should be readjusted based on not having secured employment offer.

You are out of status if the BOWP application was submitted after your original work permit expired.

Hi everyone,

I am in a situation where my BOWP got refused while waiting for my eCOPR. I had uploaded the photo and details in the eCOPR portal but i am still awaiting for the decision to be approved. At the moment i am out of status what are my best options to restore work status?
