Applications processing in Pretoria Local Visa Office

Hi.

Please advise once you submit your application within in Canada what is the reason of the application being sent to LO?
As I am from Zimbabwe and currently I have applied for pr on express entry within Canada.Im not sure why applicants are sent back to LO.

Files are sent or rather distributed to other VOs anywhere in the world according to workloads.That's what IRCC says anywhere. They start off in Sydney, Nova Scotia & can end up anywhere. It's not always sent to your local visa office.ie. Zim but it can be sent maybe to Pretoria, as that's where most of the applications for PR candidates in Southern Africa is sent.

Hi yes of course you can apply you should check the various programs Canada offers on cic.gc.ca website

Thank You for your reply. I opened that website, It is full of information. I got confused. I really don't know which program I can apply. That is why I needed your help.
Please, I am bothering you but please help. I would like to know under which program, I am eligible. Then from there I will work on and move on.

It is so confusing. According to me, Every program needs me to be there or get a job offer or study.
It is very hard to get a job offer.
I would like to apply for a paper wherever I fit. Once I get my paper I wanna leave.

I got the message from the web form's response when I asked them about the general updates on my application.

That was all ......I'm really worried now what's happening as I applied since Feb 2020.Not sure what's happening.....

I think you just need to exercise more patience. I understand your plight. Better still, you can order GCMS notes or give them a call to know what is exactly going on.

I will like to ask if you have paid your RPRF upfront? If not, have you been requested to pay it?

AOR - FEBRUARY 3, 2020
STREAM - PNP (SASKATCHEWAN)
BIOMETRIC - FEBRUARY 26, 2020
MEDICAL PASSED - MARCH 12, 2020
REQUEST FOR RPRF & New Passport - MAY 5, 2020
RPRF PAID - MAY 15, 2020
GCMS REQUESTED: JULY 15, 2020
Everything has been quiet since then and all the emails sent to the local office have all been responded to with generic answer that they are affected by COVID-19 and they are concentrating on Canadians for now.
