Canda121, if your package was kept in Hamilton for 2 days. Then you should definitely take it up. On the other hand I sent it through DTDC, they have a tie-up with TNT. I sent the package on 2 August 2010. It reached Toronto on 3rd August 2010. Even today the status is FOrwarded for delivery. Talked to the call-center, they said we have an agent tie-up in Nova Scotia, so therefore the status update will take 2 days. But they claim that the package would have been delivered. again fingers crossed.
Lets hope we can meet in canada ... may be for coffee
Hi all,
I have just come to know about the change of mailing address.
I sent my application on 19th July,2010 (which was of course the old address) and the DHL tracking shows the following:
Delivered - Signed for by : illegible
Do you have any idea why the name of the receiver is ILLEGIBLE? Definately, it should be the name of some person. On contrary, a friend of mine sent his documents on 11th of July and his application was received by someone named MAC.
Important:
I am just curious to know that if any of you guys have received any kind of confirmation letter/email that the CIO has received your applications. In case of my friend, he was informed through an email that CIO has received his application.
Some members of the forum did send it to the old address, which had 'PO BOX 7705'. But it was received by the person MAC. I am sure these members will be able to provide more details.
As for ur friend: Can u help us on when did he sent his application and whether he sent it to the same address?
As you said, we should see the feedback from the rest of the fellows participating in this thread.
As I've learnt from my friend, he sent his package on 11th of July, 2010 on the same address in the forms and was later informed by an email confirming his documents received by CIO.
Frankly speaking, he is far away from me geographically. But we seldom talk on phone, he is living and working in Prague. It was a couple of weeks ago that he informed me by SMS regarding the email (from CIC) that I've already shared with you guys.
After reaching 50 in this thread I will sort it in a manner that everybody will sense which NOc is reaching 1000 CAP and processing time.
