Application transfered from Buffalo to Detroit

Hey Guys

I had submitted my Application on August 17 2011 and got my medicals in September and they have started to process my application from January 24th 2012.

I just got an email saying they have transfered my file to Detroit for faster processing, any one in the same boat and any idea on how much longer.

My lawyer also told me that the processing time is now 15 month and not 9 month any more.

Hi,

I am a June applicant and they transferred my file to Detroit in February and 3 days after that I got RPRF and passport request. They will definitely speed up the process once your application is in Detroit.

I applied for GCMS notes on Mar 6th 2012 to know whats going on...

If you are applying it for yourself and in Canada.. you can apply under Privacy act.

If you are not in Canada, they you have to ask someone to apply it for you because they only mail documents within Canada. In this case you should apply under Access to Information Act and pay $5 for this service.

I just wanted to share a good news to everyone. I just received PR just now.....

Just a question regarding the proof of funding.... is the dependent should show the proof of funding when they come separately? How much is required to show for 2 people.

That was PPR request. I sent my passport 2 weeks ago and today I got the passport back.

CIC Detroit got my passport on 5th of March.
