Application status

When I check my application status I only see this:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 8, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

What dies this mean?
Is my application already in process?

They do not update the status on time regularly. Sometimes, the status shows correctly sometimes not. If it showed 'In Process' then it would mean that your docs are in process. If it shows that received only, then it might be in process, might be not in process.

It doesn't even say 'in process'

But a while ago we did recieve an email from Vienna that they required a 'statutory declaration of common law union', but I've already send it to them in the middle of November.

My status NEVER went to in progress. It went directly from Application Received to Decision Made.

Same for me... went straight from application received to DM... in your case you know that they are working on your file because you have been asked for extra documents, so they are working on your file - just not updating ecas about it!
