Hello people,

Hopefully all of you are doing fine. I am new to this forum, and through my first post i wish to gain some valuable advice and/ or suggestions from you guys. I have admission in York University for winter 2013 session. I applied for the visa on 23rd october, got the medical call on 19th november, medicals done and passport returned on 27th november, and currently i am waiting for the visa. InshAllah i wont be entering York as a first year student, but hopefully as a 3rd year student, as more than 60 (out of 120) credits have been transferred from the previous degree which i finished in july 2012 (Lahore School of Economics). My plan was to do MBA from an above average to good Canadian university. But my friends studying in Canada told me that it will be very difficult to get admission in a good MBA with a Pakistani degree. So i guess i am left with two options: 1) defer my admission to May session, and wait for the visa as medical has been done, and do masters later after gaining some Canadian work experience 2) go to a good Australian university for MBA (a rather expensive option).

People please guide me, i am very confused right now. My heart and brain both say Canada because of much better opportunities. Looking forward to your kind responses.

i am still waiting i applied in 3rd week of september and got medical on 19 nov then return passport on 21 nov still waiting for visa i applied in icm of university of manitoba in islamabad embassy

Hi amir, I also applied for ICM-mantioba, but didnt receive my visa in time for Jan session....
You should deffer you application to May session like i did, and when you get your New LOA , send it to the embassy...
Which course did you apply for ??? UTP 1 or 2

Umair its big diffrence between your and mine application all my friend got visa mashAllah you should not deffer you will also get it I will not deffer inshAllah in comming week I will get visa and will join my classes they are saying embassy is open but all their staff is on vacation in canada the actual embassy will start working on 7th december

Did your friends also apply for ICM who got there visa??
When did they get there visa can you please share with us.?

They all got visa afyer medical like 23, 25 and 30 days some took 40 days too
