Guys, if you are going to Canada then purchase jacket from Pakistan, it should be very warm jacket, as in Canada prices of jacket is very high.
And at airport keep that jacket in your hands, do not put in main luggage if your baggage allowance is limited otherwise good jacket weights around 3-5 Kgs. and jacket in hand will not consider for weight..

Any idea from where to purchase good jacket in this session from Lahore..?

It depends where you are going. I am going to Vancouver where the average temperature in September would be between 15 - 20 degrees celsius. Even in winter it is not as cold in there. I am taking few uppers with me which i usually use in winter in Lahore.

Guys m facing a problem here see of anybody can guide... I send my passport (after medical) through tcs visatronix on 2nd August and while tracking my shipment I found out that the status is still 'In Transit' and it has been 10 days now. I contacted tcs they said it doesn't really mean 'In Transit' rather it is 'In Process'. I am worried whether my passport has reached the CHC or not. Has anybody experienced this thing?

so a student can work in the campus, even if on the next day of his/her arrival in Canada. Is it what you means?

Is it true that a student cannot work in Canada along with his/her studies until first 6 months of the study permit has passed?

Students can not work 'off campus' during first 6 months (+ processing time of OCWP, which is around 1 month) - conditions of OCWP apply. However, all student can work 'on campus' right from the first day.

Just in case you are working illegally, off campus without a permit, a case will be filed against you and hearing will be held which may result in your expulsion as well as inadmissibility.
