Thank you for the reply. IRCC did not request for our passports due to Covid 19. They just sent me the CoPR letter right away on August 14. My wife and I are in Canada, we live together, of course.

There is diffrence between dependant and spouse. Dependant above certain age will pay RPRF. SPOUSE OF ANY AGE WILL PAY AS WELL. PLEASE CHECK YOUR APPLICATION WELL TO BE SURE SHE IS INCLUDED AS YOUR SPOUSE ON THE FORM AND YOUR APPLICATION

Yes, I included her as my spouse. Already called IRCC, the agent told me she'll send a message to Ottawa office to send the CoPR letter for my wife.

21 july. Got mail about aplication update. And online account also indicated update. Only new uci was alloted. Nothing else changed.
Mep/ bil 22 july.
Biometric submitted on 03 aug
Ghost update on 24 aug without email. Bacground status changed to your application is in process.
What this update indicate? Ip1 or ip2 ? Can i expect rprf in few days?

You have until your CoPR or medicals expire to land. Your medicals expire in 365 days from the day you had them done, i.e., when you physically went to the doctor.

As for your other questions, I suggest you read more about "soft landing" and PRTD.

Is that possible to pass eligibilty without ghost update?

Guys, a basic question! I am AOR 8 SEPTEMBER, 2020. Read a few threads on statuses and updates. And to be honest, couldn't make much sense of it. Do I really need to bother about this? Or should I just keep checking my messages and major updates like medical passed, etc? Will I miss out on anything if I don't keep tabs on things like ghost updates?

We've changed our passports and sent the new ones through webform on Thursday. Today I checked our profile and I saw that said application updated instead of submitted. When I checked it the status of Medical changed from 19 OCT to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes."

I don't know whether it is ghost update? (Based on latest information the security check was not started yet)

Or according to passport update? and what does this changing of Medical status mean? Does it mean they may ask for another medical check?

Please help.
