I have sent my application under FSW on 4th July, 2009. Still I haven't received any acknowledgement from Nova Scotia. Any one sent their applications in July, 2009? Please reply.... and also my question from those who received acknowl.. from NS through e-mail.. Are they notifying through e-mails only with any specific subject? please guide in this regard....
Do you know if your demand draft is encashed?
Also did you send your application by regular mail or courier?
If they have encashed your DD, then you are likely to get the AOR letter soon, else check your courier office.
IT takes 45 days and upwards depending on your country

I sent my application to CIO 16th July........... still no response. What I understand from this forum is that it will take at least 71 day's i.e. approximately first week in October I can expect letter from there.
Hi friends!
I sent my application by the end of June, it reached to NS at 6th of July, but still no answer. My DD was encashed on 14th of August, so today is the 54th day since my application was reached (6th of July).
Don't worry, seems the process became more slowly, just let's wait!!!
By the way I applyed from Armenia.
Syndey takes abt 2-3 months nowadays. They do respond via emails if applicants have provided it. The email comes from FSW-Centralized-intake-unit address..
Sydney takes even More Than 3 months Now. very strange------ I am a Perfect Example.... I applied on 1st June 2009 under FSW, and Today is the 94Th day I haven't received anything from Them. Best of Luck
