Good day guys.

Quick question,
1. When an application is missing 2 documents does CIC sends an email to state your Application is incomplete and will be returned OR Its just returned in the mail with a letter stating why its being returned?

2. Does CIC ask for additional documents prior to recieving AOR?

2. If you’re extremely lucky they wont return the application and ask you to send the missing documents (highly unlikely but possible)
1. No emails sent. It will be returned to the sponsor’s address in Canada. You can call CIC and ask about your application and they will tell you if its returned or not. If you have sent it very recently then it will take a while as they would not have opened your file yet.

We send out our in August 2018 it got returned December 10 2018 with a letter stating what they required we completed it an returned it to them December 20 2018 got aor February 12 2019

wow that must have been a real harsh setback. The thing is im just nervous n out of place now bcuz I dont really believe the lawyer stating they requested additional documents and that our file wasnt sent bk. Im depressed bcuz april 18th applicants have been getting AOR n I havent gotten mine. I just wish she could tell the truth. My husband is the one sponsoring me and he is saying he just gonna wait n see. Im really fustrated n losing sleep. Sigh

Don’t worry I have been waiting from August 2018 you just come just give it at least 3 months then you can worry

Generally speaking, an application that is being returned as "incomplete" is not even registered in the IRCC’s systems. Therefore there is no email link on file for them to use.

Just hope that you get everything back. It's not unknown for bits to go "missing".

so your saying they don't input any info in their system if they are going to return. I have asked this question before, but want more opinions. I am still waiting for AOR received March 28. I have a temp file number with an X. I call the automated line and get the message that they have my application and will update when they start the process. But as of yesterday the automate line says that based on my info, they can't find an application. But then I talked to an agent and they said they don't see any notes about it being returned.

AOR can take 3 months or more. They do not input information into the system the same way they would if you had received AOR - that's the the point of AOR.

@glen1990 ive been checkinh May tracjer constantly to see that you get An AOR message soon. I know how u feeling. Keep holding the faith almost 70 days no AOR. Hope as you get AOR you will also recieve BR,SA,MR if not same day. Dont give up

thank you for your kind words. no giving up on my end. I knew what I was getting myself into it's just frustrating seeing everyone run past me in the process.
