Application is approved but waiting for PPR/Landing Interview mail

Hi guys, I just received a landing interview request from the Vancouver office. My application was approved about 8 weeks ago, and the interview was scheduled in early June. So if you are in Vancouver, I'd say give it a few weeks ... Looks like they are really busy...

Me too, forgot to post it here. I got my landing email yesterday morning from Vancouver office, aor Oct 26th last year, file approved on Mar 14th and I’ve been waiting for the email for 10 weeks. interview will be on Jun 5th, good luck everyone!

I had submitted my documents in response to ITA on November 04, 2018, when I didn't receive any response after May 04, 2019. My application is under Federal Skilled Class. I raised a query and received response yesterday May 23, 2019 that my Permanent Residency has been approved.

However, I haven't received any email notification yet to confirm, the automated status still says, processing background check but when I spoke to an agent, he confirmed that our PR has been approved. Any idea when we would receive official communication.

Also, we have to travel to US for a family function in the first week of July, can we do the landing on our return from US if we get the PR Visa stamp from Ottawa.

What's the current processing time for PR stamping in passport. We are a family of four.

Actually, I've got a question here: did you get any sort of " confirmation of approval“ except two attached pdfs with the landing interview email? The IRCC agent I spoke with the other day mentioned they would also send me this document but I have never received anything like that...

yeah that makes send, I wonder why the IRCC agent mentioned that I would receive something by mail or email before getting the interview request. Maybe it was something they used to do- sending out something else for us to bring to the interview? We should just follow that the email says lol
