Infect I forgot to ask one more thing that is regarding PCC?
I have stayed at 3-4 places after reaching 18 years (i.e. in different cities of India), So is it necessary to provide PCC for each place you stayed or only one PCC from your current city/town?
Anybody faced similar situation?
You need to provide only one PCC from India that is from the Passport office from where your passport was issued.
They issue you a letter of NOC and a stamp on your passport, which says PCC for Canada immigration.
I had sent mine the same way and today got the request for medicals.
It takes just 1 day you need to submit your proof of residence either telephone bill or electricity bill along with the fees and collect it the next day. This was done from Mumbai Passport office.
hirentank, I know PM48633 is 100% right. PCC is country specific & not province specific. But in this forum I have read one unfortunate case form whom CHC demanded 2 previous PCCs from New Delhi (He resided for few years 10 years back) and from Chennai (I think) for his wife where she resided before marriage. They submitted PCC from Banglore (present residence).
So he asked the question here in this forum. If you search in detail (all pages) you will find it. He was quite sure Delhi police won't issue PCC to a 10 year back resident.
But anyway here each case is different. So let's hope you may not face this situation.
That'z a great news..Congrats yaar... correcting the mistake will not be difficult...
Cheers for the great milestone achieved...
In between I had done same change in communication address... I think thatz the reason for mine getting delayed...
I am hoping to receive the same this week...
You received your Meds within 12 days of submitting your complete application. That is the fastest processing I have ever seen as per this forum and trackitt.
pvkks2000, No change in status. eCAS shows 'Received by Visa Office' Did your status changed to 'In Process'? I think for me the process is somewhat slow. Let's see.
