I have 448 points now.
Fingers crossed. I have also worked on my docs to speed up the process. Got done the e-medical also.

I need some advice on POF
I have taken letters from EPF and ETF offices and we have a total over LKR 4.5mil in them.

And we also have savings little over LKR 1.2mil.

Do I have to show POF for me n my spouse (LKR 2.2mil) in FDs or savings accounts only or the EPF, ETF and above mentioned saving value together sufficient enough????

Please advise

When u apply only there is a drop down to select the country and the embassy u applying from for the police report.

I believe most of the financial institutions do have the address with them when u mention the country.

Sorry I mean to say when u apply online for the PCC you get this option. Not sure if it’s not the same when u walk in to a police station.

In my case i addressed it to Visa Officer, Canadian High Commission, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Address

Worked out fine!

I am not sure whether you should include that-if it was a holiday or something. Because they will clearly leave that part out, and you have to justify to CIC where you were. In my case i spent 3 years outside Sri Lanka studying, and 1 year outside working. In the PCC, SL Police have left those parts out (For which i needed to get from the countries i was residing in).

We had also gone on holidays-but never more than 2 weeks, didnt include such dates for PCC.

However one suggestion, is be very very careful about how you record your travel dates. There is a chance CIC compare all your days against police clearances. Fortunately some countries provide a general police clearance without specific date ranges. In Sri Lanka though, they provide date range!

i followed the same and got them corrected by a british friend of mine. She wasnt that keen on ielts layout but she corrected me on grammar and coherent. I also checked E2 ielts writing videos on youtube. Just check that as well. Wish u all thr best. I did the exam 12 times got W-7.5 R-7.5 S-8 L-8. Never gave up. Wish u all the best.
