I did ECA for top up degree from Northumbria University and it was equal to Canadian 4 years degree. Also I did ECA for local HND, and the report was 'diploma from unrecognized institute'.
If anyone from Sri Lanka trying to evaluate their HND or diploma, first check whether your institute is registered under UGC or Vocational training center. As far I know most of the private institutions are not registered in any of these departments, instead they might have just registered as a business entity.
Seems this is taking long time than usual...Got to know that there is a significant delays in processing applications...This delay is for the applications submitted from this year March onwards...Before that, a smooth processing was happening...In a different thread, someone noticed due to current situation, it will take at least 4-6 months to move application from AOR to PPR...:-(
Anyone here from Sri Lanka who submitted their PR applications this year (2018) got PPR status? Would like to know the timelines? Heard there is some significant delays in processing applications these days...
I have assessed my BIT Degree (University of Colombo) from WES. It was a 3 year Degree programme. However, they have considered it as "Bachelor's degree ( four years)" without any problems.
Since BCS also a credible organization, you'd not have any problems getting assessed them..please go for it.

Yes, I am also looking for timelines...Mine, July 24th AOR, Aug 15th Medical Passed and IP1 on the same day...Since then, waiting....
What I observed by reading some of the other threads is the processing delaying considerably these days...Therefore, it will take around 4-6 months from AOR to PPR...Anyway, love to see how things went for guys who already received their PPRs?
