Hi All, Please i need a little help. Thanks be to God I got my COPR on Monday but i'm a little confused as to how i will go about sending my passport out and paying for the service fee. Could someone please walk me through what i need to do and include to send my passport out. i dont want to make a mistake. I'm currently in Nigeria. Here are questions i have

A) WHere/How should i pay the VFS handling charge since i want to send my pali to either Ghana,Ottawa, London or Germany?
BShould i send all the documents via DHL to the VFS office in Ghana or wherever?
C)What documents do i include in the package to VFS? I think the passport,consent form, copr letter and waiver? Am i missing anything else?


Anyone that has sent theirs out please help a brother out and respond with details .

Hi, I received similar email and I considered sending my passports and documents to vfs Nigeria till I read some posts advising against this. I could courier directly to vfs Accra, however how do I pay their passport transmission charges in NGN?

Hello Everyone, I would like to ask if anyone has sent a mail to Accra Visa Office before and they responded. AVO asked me to send my Wives old passport but did not specify, how i should send it,I uploaded it on my CIC account and also sent a scanned copy to them via email which they have not acknowledged.
I sent a mail asking if they have received my document to which they have not responded.
Im worried if i should also send them a physical passport via DHL because i was only given 15 days and i wouldn't want to make a mistake sending an e copy when they require a physical copy

Congratulations. Please how long did it take? Saw someone earlier who said it took 7 days via dhl to recieve pick up mail. Yours seems much longer. Since u also used dhl. Is there a reason for different processing times? Thanks

i have no idea why it takes that long. It all depends on how quick you get your GC key approval. Some got theirs in 5 days...mine took 1 month. I got my pick up mail on thursday and paid DHL to pck up that day. and received it on Monday.

Wow! Must have been unsettling. But u finally got your visa. Please could u elaborate on the GCKEY approval? I thought gc key is used to log into ones account on the cic website. Didnt know it had to be approved before COPR is issued.
