It appears am the only one in this boat. I sent my passport to Ghana through VFS, Abuja since February 11, 2016 and no update till now. Anybody with same experience with VFS?

Have been to VFS office twice and they only say that the passport has been forwarded to Accra on Feb 11, 2016. This is what is showing in their tracker but so far there is no acknowledgement from visa office Accra. Have sent two CSE mail to Accra to confirm delivery and no response yet. I should have used DHL instead.

What's about your MyCIC profile status? Check there if your application has been closed and approved. It is approved mean visa issued.

Using VFS is too much stressfull. Feb 11 I sent pp and I received those back on Feb 29 by DHL. You sent on the same day, but still you don't have any news. Don't worry, it is late but it will not affect your visa. Hope you will get good news.

What additional Doc did they request on Jan29? I hear those request can cause some delay.

I have sent passports on 4th march and DHL has delivered 8th march.

@Topsy, it is difficult to tell as mine reached Accra on the 22nd of February and I still haven't received any feedback. I also used DHL; maybe we can get average times from people as mine has been there fore over 2 weeks now. Actually this is my passport's 17th day in Accra.

My passports were delivered to embassy on February 15 and I got email for ready to pick up from them on February 26. For me they took 10/11 days.

That is serious. How many people in your application? Has your status in CIC account changed?
Are you sure you haven't missed the pickup email? Thats a long time

I am quite bothered and see the message a document is required from the Applicant. I received both the "Ready for Visa" email and a request for passports in my CIC account and sent immediately. The request in my CIC asked for currently valid and past passports. Is this request even usual?
