What's happening at AVO? Do they need more staff there? I am not sure they have issued any PPR this year.

I know someone that got this January and her application took just a little over 6 weeks.

Guys please i need suggestions, CIC is giving us only 60 days to submit our FBI clearance and we know it's really impossible to get it within this time frame though I had applied since last month. What do I do should In case it's not ready by the deadline given to us by CIC.

it's strictly depends on individual case, but has ur application been closed and approved" otherwise it's after what that u should expect it a PUM. Hope it helps.

Thanks , it makes a lot of sense. But am saying was the average time , cos 3 weeks without my passport isnt funny, and if they were not ready to issue the visa why ask for it and say your visa is ready to be issues and bla bla.

AVO is a special bunch. PUM is suppose to come almost immediately status changes to approved and closed. I landed in August 2016 and believe it or not, I'm still waitng for "pick up mail" lol.

My advice, if by close of work Monday you haven't received PUM, raise a CSE to AVO immediately.

Yap, that's the email address.

After waiting 3 weeks from approved and closed, I sent a mail to AVO. They replied a week after (4weeks) that there record shows that a pick up mail was sent to me the very next day after approved and close. I never received such mail as I normally check mail like 15 to 20 times everyday including bulk (junk) mail. I just printed the reply and used it to request for pick up by UPS.
