Hey guys!

Last week I noticed my profile status on GCKey started showing the following message:

“We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Latest update:
Final decision - January 6, 2023:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.”

This sentence “Final decision - January 6, 2023” was not there before.

Also, at the end of my details says:
“Final decision
January 6, 2023 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.”

Again this date wasn’t there before.

Does anyone else noticed this change?
Does that mean something?

That has given me some hope.

Dont read too much into it

Latest Update section, as name suggests, will have the date of latest update you would have on your application (BIL, MEP etc etc)

Final Decision will have date when you receive PPR

Does anybody know how long in average does the background check take to be finished? My husband's is the only thing not showing as "completed" on my tracker and it shows that it changed from "not started" to "in progress" on May 15th.
